The weather’s finally heating up here in Southern California so I wanted to put together some summer-inspired spaces for this month’s places and spaces that inspire post. I focused on lighter colors and lots of natural light, and hope these can provide some nice summer inspiration. Happy July!
Such a beautiful patio space by Garden Studio Design! I would gladly sit out here in the summer and read a book or just enjoy the sunshine.
I love the simplicity of this bathroom space designed by Cohesively Curated. It’s light and bright and mixes different colors and materials so well. It’s very spa-like and calming, and that shower looks amazing!
Tranquil is the word that comes to mind when I see this bedroom from @helloimaubs. From the soft green on the walls to the light, natural colors, it looks like a great space to relax and unwind after a long day or a great place to reflect and prepare for the day with your morning coffee.
This Spanish Farmhouse looks like the perfect place for a summer getaway! From the stone walls and large patio to the beautiful pool, it looks like a great place to spend a warm summer afternoon.
I think I said this in last month’s post, but I love a good hallway. From the pendant lights to the wall sconces, the white walls and light floors, and perfectly selected decor, this hallway is anything but boring. And let’s not forget those arched ceilings! Brooke Wagner Design did an amazing job with this space, and the rest of the project is just as beautiful.
I figured we’d wrap up this month’s post with this beautiful kitchen by Heidi Woodman Interiors. It’s a great mixture of modern and traditional finishes, and the ability to mix styles adds so much dimension to a space. I also really love the black and white tile behind the range, and how it helps tie in the other dark colors in the space like the island cabinets and the dark paint in the hallway.
And that wraps up this month’s places and spaces that inspire post! I hope this brought you some inspiration or helped stir up some summer vibes. I’ll see you back here next month for some more places and spaces that inspire!
