Places & Spaces That Inspire is a monthly series of design inspiration with no specific theme or purpose, just beautiful spaces and links to the creative minds behind the projects. Enjoy!

Simple, timeless, and very pretty. This kitchen is a breath of fresh air and the tall ceilings add to the open and bright feel of the space. This kitchen is part of the Country Villa project by Abbey Lang Home, and the rest of the house is just as spectacular. Click here to see the rest of the project!

That. Fireplace. Is. Incredible. I’m a huge fan of brick fireplaces, but this one is next level. The lattice design (is that the right name for it?) adds a lot of visual interest and creates a beautiful focal point for the room. I do wonder about spiderwebs in all those little nooks and crannies, but it’s so pretty, it would still be worth it. You can see the rest of Webber + Studio’s Green Lanes project here!
Shoppe Amber Interiors, started by Amber Lewis, has a very specific design style, that blends high end finishes with pieces that make a space feel lived-in and comfortable. This picture features two of their products, the Rome Pendant Light and Charlie Counter Stool, and creates a very cute, inviting kitchen. And maybe it’s just the yellow flowers, but something about it makes me think of spring and summer, which seems really nice right now in the depths of winter.

This living room caught my eye on Pinterest. They did a beautiful job mixing different textures and materials, and I really like the wood-trimmed windows. The couch also looks very comfy! Andersen Windows & Doors interviewed Brady Tolbert about this project, which you can find here. And to see the rest of Brady’s work, click here!

I spent a lot of time trying to find the original source for this photo, but didn’t have any luck. I do think I found the source for the tile (Temparto by Tempest Tile Works), but that was the closest I got. If anyone is a better internet sleuth than me, and finds the original source, please let me know.
But, the tile is the real star of the show here, and definitely makes me consider patterned tile as a design option (in small doses of course, I don’t know if I would like it on a larger scale).

This kitchen is very different from the white kitchen up above, but goes to show the endless possibilities you have with design. It was designed for a family of 6, and I think it definitely looks like a family kitchen (in a good way). There’s so much space for people to gather and hang out, cook and entertain. It’s a really beautiful space, and the vaulted ceiling and exposed beams are incredible. The design for this project was handled by Maddalena Minerva Ltd. and you can read more about the project on the DeVOL Kitchens blog!
And that wraps up this month’s places and spaces that inspire post! I hope this brought you some design inspiration and that you’re preparing for spring which is right around the corner. I’ll see you back here next month for some more places and spaces that inspire!
