Well that was fast! I don’t know even know where June went. It was one of those months that didn’t feel fast, but now that it’s almost July, I don’t know where the time went. We spent a lot of time relaxing and getting things done, which felt great. How was your June? Any fun summer plans coming up?
I put together a couple of my favorite things (that I actually purchased or tried this month) in case you’re looking for something new or something to cook in the coming weeks. Hope you had a great month!
Favorite Purchases
ASTR the Label Cross Bust Tie Back Midi Dress in Black // Such a comfy dress! I wanted something lightweight and cool for summer that could work year-round and this was just what I was looking for. I wore it to an outdoor graduation on a hot day and it definitely helped me stay cool!
Juniper Print Shop “Monsoon” Print // Juniper Print Shop has great affordable prints for your home decor projects. I ordered the “Monsoon” print and am hoping to use it for a fireplace makeover I’m working on!
Favorite Recipes
Ambitious Kitchen Best Healthy Turkey Lasagna // We used to have lasagna pretty often, but somehow we just stopped making it. We tried this recipe a couple weeks ago and it was really good! They didn’t have basil at the store so we just added a little bit of dried basil and it still turned out great. And we had leftovers which is always a win!
HowSweetEats Rotisserie Chicken Salad // I’ve always been a big fan of salads, but sometimes they just get so boring. Or I just always make them the same way and that makes them boring haha. Either way, it’s nice to find a new salad recipe and this one was great! Even my husband liked it. We used Balsamic Vinaigrette instead of the bacon dressing the recipe calls for and it was still really good!
Alright, that wraps up this month’s post! Hope everyone had a great June and cheers to the month ahead!
